The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved a Pole Attachment Agreement with Socket Telecommunications, LLC. during its meeting on Monday, April 10, 2023.

City Administrator Shawna Davis stated Socket is planning to install fiber internet throughout the city and an agreement protects Odessa infrastructure and sets guidelines for future relationships.

Davis also stated two additional companies are interested in installing service in the city. The board approved the resolution.
