A Holden woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Johnson County on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Mary Kuykendall attempted to cross the highway and traveled into the path of another vehicle. The second vehicle then struck the Kuykendall.

Kuykendall was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner.

The accident occurred at 9:30 p.m. on Highway 50 at Route D in Johnson County.
