The Glasgow School District Board of Education heard a final presentation for HVAC and lighting improvements during its meeting on Wednesday, April 12.

Performance Services delivered the presentation, which included information about all fees and timelines for completing the project. The project is scheduled to begin in May.

The board approved the final proposal from performance Services in the amount of $3 million payable over 15 years through a loan from LJ Hart and Company. The district plans to apply for a grant through the Missouri Department of Health for $150,000 to help decrease the loan amount.

In other news, the board accepted the resignations of Ag and FFA Advisor Samantha Volkmann, part-time Title 1 teacher Kelly Kallmeyer, elementary special education teacher Ethan Hyde, and paraprofessional Reid Littrell.
