
The Salisbury School District Board of Education appointed a new President and elected other offices during its meeting on Wednesday, April 12.
Andrea Binder was nominated and elected to serve as Board President. The board also elected Russ Stundebeck as Vice-President, Terry Hulett as Treasurer, Kim Vetter as Secretary, Diane Cooper as MSBA Delegate, and Chris Wilhoit as MSBA Alternate.
The board also approved a recommendation to increase the salary for the district’s employees. The board approved a $1,000 increase to the base for certified teachers, and a 3.65 percent increase to support staff and administration.
Every motion passed with a unanimous vote.
