A Keytesville man suffered moderate injuries after an accident in Chariton County on Saturday, April 15.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Lawrence Logue ran off the road while avoiding a deer. Logue’s vehicle became airborne and struck a tree.

Logue was taken by Chariton County Ambulance to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 5:10 a.m. on Missouri Route 5 in Chariton County.
