
A Warsaw man has been charged with a sex-related felony involving a 16-year-old female in Pettis County.
According to a probable cause statement, the juvenile accompanied Hunter Bagley to an apartment in June 2019 in Sedalia where Bagley allegedly made demands. Bagley allegedly performed a sexual act on the victim before taking her back to Warsaw.
The victim contacted the Sedalia Police Department on February 21, 2023 and an officer contacted her on March 27. The victim described the apartment to the officer and gave a description of Bagley.
A friend of the victim stated to the officer the victim was believed to have been allegedly sexually assaulted but the victim did not confirm for a year after the incident.
Bagley confirmed in an interview that he had taken the victim to his apartment to watch television and alleged the incident was consensual. Bagley later admitted to a sexual act and stated he did not force the victim.
According to court documents, Bagley was charged with a sex-related felony. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Bagley was arraigned on Friday April, 14, 2023 and has a counsel status hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
