A Henrietta woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lafayette County on Monday, April 17, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Teresa Harris left the roadway and struck a sign. Harris proceeded to reenter the roadway and struck a vehicle driven by 57 year-old Sue Westerhouse of Aurora.

Harris was transported to Lafayette Regional Health Center with serious injuries. Westerhouse was taken to Lafayette Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:19 p.m. on Highway 13 south of Route 24 in Lafayette County.
