The Carrollton Town Council discussed a city-owned certificate of deposit during its meeting on Monday, April; 17, 2023.

City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell stated the certificate of deposit was from a $1 million gift to the city.

The new CD will be held with Carroll County Trust.

In other news from the meeting the council approved the Cattlemen’s Association request to sell beer at the Carroll County Fair, which runs from July 2 through July 9.
