The April 4, 2023 Municipal Elections results were accepted during the meeting of the Slater School District Board of Education on Tuesday, April 18.

Three incumbents, Tedd Wiseman, Matthew Campbell, and Jayme England were all re-elected for three-year terms. Michael Schure was also re-elected for a two-year term. All four were sworn in.

The board also elected officers during the meeting. England was chosen as President, Campbell as Vice-President, and Wiseman as Treasurer.

The district’s no-tax levy increase was approved by voters. Superintendent Terry Lorenz said the money will be used for several projects that are slated to start this summer.

In other news, the board approved sixth, seventh, and eighth grade participation in Junior High MSHSAA sports.
