
The Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education approved the promotion of Amanda Jackson to assistant principal at Heber Hunt Elementary School, effective July 1, 2023 on Monday, April 17, 2023
Jackson, currently the instructional coach at Heber Hunt, started in the district as an elementary teacher in 2006, moving to elementary counselor in 2011. This is her first year as Heber Hunt’s instructional coach. Jackson earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Central Missouri in 2005. She earned a counseling degree from Stephens College in 2014 and an education specialist degree from William Woods University in 2019 along with kindergarten through eight certifications as a teacher, counselor and principal.
