Pettis County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford Escape on Highway 50 near the intersection of Granny Lane in Pettis County on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Members of the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force arrived and assisted in the seizure of approximately 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, the driver and sole occupant, 42-year-old Larry Brown of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Later in the day, Pettis County Deputies, Sedalia Police Officers, and members of the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force executed a follow up narcotics search warrant at Brown’s residence.

During the execution of that search warrant, 42-year-old Tobey Cole of Sedalia, was arrested for an active no bond probation and parole warrant.

Suspected methamphetamine, LSD, and drug paraphernalia were located and seized from Brown and Cole’s bedroom at this residence.
