
The Kansas City Royals broke a 2-2 tie in the 9th inning after Edward Olivares scored on a wild pitch from Jhoan Duran.
Olivares went 2 for 3 with a walk and two runs scored, helping the Royals snap a nine-game losing streak at Target Field.
Royals starter Brad Keller wen 5 1/3 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 4. Twins starter Bailey Ober went 5 2/3 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 6.
Aroldis Chapman picked up the win, and Scott Barlow pitched a scoreless 9th for the save.
