The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed a potential sewer rate increase during its meeting on Monday, May 1.
The board had a discussion about the sewer rates and the impact that increasing them could have. City administrator Dale Klussman proposed a $9.25 minimum, which is a $2.20 increase.
No official action was taken. Klussman will draft an ordinance for the board’s approval in a future meeting. Klussman expects the board to set the new rates during a meeting in June.
