The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved committee chairs and a mayor pro tem during its meeting on Monday, May 1, 2023.

City Administrator Jeannette Dobson gave the appointed chairs.

In other news from the meeting, Dobson stated a proclamation was made for Local Government Week taking place from May 7 through May 13. The proclamation recognizes individuals that serve local government. Staff will have activities at city hall during the week.
