
The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work in Carroll and Chariton from May 8-14.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map.
In Carroll County:
-Two bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled on U.S. 24 through June. One is on South Route 24, over U.S. 65, and the other is on the north and southbound U.S. 24/65 bridges over old U.S. Highway 24 and the BNSF railroad, just south of the Benton Street Bridge.
-U.S. Highway 65 is closed for permit work at the Brookfield Sub railroad crossing from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 9.
-Resurfacing work is scheduled on Routes KK, VV, WW, and DD from May 8-12.
In Chariton County:
-Route D is closed for a bridge replacement project at the East Fork of Bee Branch Bridge through mid-September.
-Route PP is closed for pothole patching from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 9-12.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
