
Carlton Dean “Carl” Stuvick, 74, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services, with military rites following, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall with Pastor William Voelker officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, at Strand Cemetery in rural Villisca, Iowa. Born February 1, 1949, in Villisca, Iowa, he was the son of the late Kenneth Joseph Stuvick and Mildred Lincoln Stuvick. Carl graduated from Corning High School and then attended the University of Iowa where he earned his degree in accounting. He was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1972-1974 and was stationed in Korea for most of that time. On February 1, 1974, he married Kim (Hyo Sun) and she survives of the home. Carl’s career was spent managing grain elevators leading him to move to Saline County to be a manager at Mid-Missouri Ethanol Plant when it opened in 2003. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Carl had enjoyed hunting and trapshooting and was a member of Salt Fork Pachyderm Club.
In addition to his wife, Kim; he is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Schiegg (Brian) of Edina, MN; two grandsons, William and Joshua; as well as other extended family.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Benjamin Jason Stuvick; and one sister, Carole Jean Morton.
