Marshall School Superintendent Caleb Petet gave an update on the proposed listing of Southeast Elementary School during the Marshall Board of Eduaction meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Petet stated would the board have to have a plan in place by the next meeting involving deed restrictions for the property for presentation to local realtors.

In other news, the board approved moving the playground equipment from Southeast Elementary to the Spainhower Building. The work will be done by Ozark Mountain Installations at a cost of $43,750. The board also approved a change in dates for meetings from the fourth Tuesday of each month to the second Tuesday effective in June 2023.
