The Marshall Fire Department responded to a house fire in city limits on Tuesday, May 9.

According to the department, the fire was first reported at 5:58 p.m. Officials officially left the scene at 8:33 p.m.

The house was undergoing remodeling work and was moderately damaged by the fire. No injuries were reported.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
