A one-year-old female was killed in a train accident in Hardin on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the child was stationary on the tracks and was struck by an eastbound train.

The accident occurred at 8:48 a.m. at Route J and Elm Street in Hardin.
