A Pilot Grove man was seriously injured in an ATV accident on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when an ATV ridden by 20-year-old Dalton Hazlett left the roadway and struck an embankment. Hazlett was ejected and struck a fence post.
Hazlett was transported by MU Air to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
The accident occurred at 7:30 p.m. in rural Cooper County.
