The Boonville City Council approved a resolution authorizing an application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for a Lead Line Inventory Grant during its meeting on Monday, May 15, 2023..

City Administrator Kate Fjell stated the inventory survey is required and the grant helps to pay for the costs.

The council also approved the first reading of a preliminary site plan for a convenience store at 2428 Ashley Road according to Fjell.

The council will vote on final approval for the site plan at the next meeting on Monday, June 5, 2023.
