State Fair Community College will now award college credit to high school graduates who have earned the Missouri Seal of Bi-literacy from a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education-approved school district. Missouri graduates who have demonstrated high achievement in speaking English and other languages as well as sociocultural competence are eligible. More than 100 districts and schools in Missouri have gone through the process to make the Seal of Bi-literacy available to their students.

The seal identifies students who are proficient in more than one language and awards them recognition on transcripts, during graduation ceremonies and on job applications.
