Kathrine A. “Kathy” Pabst, 69, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Memorials are suggested to the Community Food Pantry, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born September 16, 1953, in Chillicothe, MO, she was the daughter of the late Norlan Lambert and Barbara Gooch Lynch, who survives of Marshall, and her late step-father, William D. “Bill” Lynch Sr.  Kathy spent her early life in the Kansas City area and graduated from high school in Raytown.  On June 10, 1972, she married Donald Wayne Pabst who survives of the home.  Kathy lived most of her life in Marshall where she had a career of nearly 40 years working at the local title company.  She began working when Charlie Swisher owned the title company in the 1980’s and she remained with the title company until she retired in 2019 from Truman Title Company.  She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and had been instrumental in helping form the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, Wayne; she is survived by one son, Josh Pabst (Ashley) of Slater; six grandchildren: Kate, Kole, Kyle, Caleb, Ty and Kelbie; four half-siblings: Bill Lynch (Jennifer) of Springfield and Carolyn, Jim and Kenny Lambert, all of Kirksville; her sister-in-law, Barb Eilers (Glenn) of Marshall; several nieces and nephews including Michael Eilers and Missy Godar.
