The Slater City Council passed a motion to redo some of the city building roofs during its meeting on Tuesday, May 16.

City Administrator Gene Griffith listed several options the council could move forward with.

The council moved forward with the plan Griffith laid out. The cost of the project is about $60,000.

In other news, the city is holding its Wine Walk on Saturday, May 20. The Wine Festival is from 4 to 10 p.m. at Slater City Park.
