Three drivers were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred when a southbound vehicle driven by Hailee Brown of Concordia was stopped to make a left hand turn. Brown’s vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Regina Harrelson of Warrensburg. After impact, Harrelson’s vehicle entered the northbound lane and was struck by a vehicle driven by Lesley Asher of Odessa.

Brown and Harrelson were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries. Asher was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center also suffering moderate injuries.

The crash occurred on Missouri 13 at Highway YY in Johnson County.
