A Cole Camp woman was killed by a hit and run driver in Benton County on Friday, May 19, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 46-year-old Alisha Holt was struck on the roadway by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle, described as a Ford truck, fled the scene.

Holt was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Cole Camp Police Officer.

The incident occurred  at 11:45 p.m. on Highway B north of Boyd Dump Road in Benton County.
