The next Household Hazardous Waste event is scheduled in Saline County.

Saline County residents can drop off their hazardous waste from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 by appointment only. Residents can drop off their waste at the drop off facility at 26523 245 Road in Marshall.

The items that can be accepted include solvents, pesticides, pet sprays, rat and mouse poison, oil based paints, pool chemicals, drain openers, insecticides, bleach, and glue. latex paint and gasoline cannot be accepted.
