An Odessa woman was struck by a tractor in Lafayette County on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 65-year-old Deborah Friess walked in front of a tractor driven by an Independence man and was struck by the tractor.

Friess was transported by Wellington EMS to Centerpoint Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:05 p.m. on Highway FF in Lafayette County.
