
Saline County E-911 contacted Marshall Police around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 8 about a careless and imprudent driver traveling on Highway 20. While officers were going to locate the careless and imprudent driver they were informed the vehicle was involved in an accident.
Upon Marshall Police, Marshall Fire Department, Saline County Ambulance District and Missouri State Highway Patrol arrival it was learned that the driver was an 84-year-old woman who was driving a 2018 black Ford Escape traveling east on Highway 20 when she left the roadway near Thompson Trucking, hit a curb and then a light pole causing her vehicle to overturn. The driver was transported by the Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon for treatment and evaluation.
