The Boonville City Council approved a preliminary site plan for a Quiktrip adjacent to Boonville High School during its meeting on Monday, June 5, 2023.

City Administrator Kate Fjell stated the convenience store will be located on an unimproved parcel near the soccer fields next to Interstate 70.

In other news from the meeting, Fjell stated the council approved a pay request from Smico Contracting Group, LLC for work at the city’s wastewater treatment plant.

The pay request was in the amount of $34,462.93 and was approved by the council.
