The Concordia Board of Aldermen considered an ordinance that would authorize an emergency services agreement with the city of Higginsville during its meeting on Monday, June 5.

The proposed ordinance would authorize the execution of an agreement for Emergency (EMS), Police, and Fire Dispatching services with Higginsville. The board accepted the agreement.

In other news, the board approved an ordinance authorizing the issuance of $440,000 in water and sewer revenue bonds for work that is going to be completed.

The cost of that work is about $278,000.
