
A Sedalia woman has been charged with a felony after a drug-related search on Wednesday, June 7.
Detectives from the Crime Resolution Unit, Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, and deputies from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on TT Highway to serve a search warrant. Authorities noticed a vehicle left the residence and deployed a drone unit for surveillance eventually stopping the vehicle in Sedalia.
A K-9 unit was deployed and positively alerted the presence of methamphetamine, which was located in the vehicle.
Authorities arrested 34-year-old Jessica Brown at the scene.
According to court documents, Brown has been charged with a felony for trafficking drugs in the second degree.
Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
No court date has been set.
