
A Kansas City man was arrested in the early morning hours of Monday June 12 after a high speed chase in Pettis, Saline and Carroll Counties.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the pursuit involved a U-Haul truck driven by 39-year-old Kenneth Steenstry. The pursuit followed 65 Highway. The Pettis County, Saline County and Carroll County Sheriff’s Departments as well as Marshall Police were also involved in the pursuit. Spike strips were deployed twice during the incident and Steenstry was taken into custody at 12:26 a.m.
Stolen property was allegedly located in the vehicle.
Steenstry has been charged with felonies for resisting arrest by fleeing, receiving stolen property and second degree burglary.
