A Knob Noster woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County on Monday, June 12.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Bethany Welch traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and became airborne. The vehicle overturned ejecting Welch.

Welch was transported by Life flight to Research Medical Center with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 7:26 p.m. on Route MM in Johnson County.
