Alice J. Keller, 84, of Cullman, Alabama, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Boonville, Missouri.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11 a.m.

with at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slater, with Fr. Joshua Duncan officiating.  Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery, with Greg Smith, Marty Smith, Travis Peel, and Mark Thomas serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church.  Memorials are suggested to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Alabama in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born October 25, 1938 in Eudora, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late David O. and Frances Bichelmeyer Smith.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Thomas and Travis Peel, both of Cullman, Alabama; two daughters, Peggy Pethan and Angela Carmichael, both of Boonville; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Greg Smith of Slater and Marty Smith of Jamestown; and two sisters, Toni Page of Jamestown and Nancy Fisher of Carolina Beach, North Carolina.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Smith; and two sisters, Barbara Singer and Mary Helen Kirby.

Mrs. Keller was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Alabama.  She had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as a telephone operator, and in the telephone office, later retiring from the Bell South Telephone Company.
