A Marshall man has been charged after fleeing police on Sunday, May 28.

According to a probable cause statement, a Marshall Police Officer observed Cody Kiser while on patrol at approximately 10:14 in the evening. The officer had prior knowledge of active warrants for Kiser on parole violation and a traffic charge in the City of Marshall. Kiser allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at which time the officer activated lights in an attempt to stop him.

Kiser allegedly failed to stop and proceeded onto Highway 20. The officer observed speeds of up to 100 miles per hour while in pursuit. The officer pursued Kiser onto several gravel roads and terminated the pursuit at an intersection on Highway EE.

According to court documents, Kiser has been charged with a felony for resisting arrest by fleeing.

Bond has been set at $15,000 cash only with conditions.

No court date has been set.
