The Carrollton Town Council considered approving a contract with the Carroll County Fire Protection District Number 1 during its meeting on Wednesday, June 21.

City Administrative Assistant Kelsey Kaiser said both sides agreed to enter into a five year contract instead of a two year contract.

The contract allows the Carroll County Fire Protection District to provide fire protection services in the city and in the district.
