The Carrollton Town Council approved the purchase of a pickup truck for the Carrollton Fire Chief Lonnie Sensenich during its meeting on Wednesday, June 21.

Carrollton City Administrative Assistant Kelsey Kaiser stated the truck will be purchased from Banner Coulson Chevrolet in Higginsville.

The cost of the truck is $55,659.

In other news, the council approved a lease purchase agreement with Carroll County Trust to finance the cost of two bucket trucks and a back up substation transformer for Carrollton Municipal Utilities.
