Two people were injured in a head on collision in Saline County on Saturday, June 24.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Kristina Werneke, of Waverly and a motorcycle driven by 70-year-old Gredrick Hasting, of Cherryvale, Kansas collided head on. Hasting was ejected from the motorcycle.

Hasting was transported by Saline County EMS to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries. Werneke was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:10 p.m. on Highway 65 near Highway UU in Saline County.
