Donald “Wayne” Pabst, age 70, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at The Living Center in Marshall..
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Born May 31, 1953, in Marshall, he was the son of the late William Donald Pabst and Norma Lee Weiss Pabst. Wayne lived in Marshall all of his life and was a 1971 graduate of Marshall High School. On June 10, 1972, he married Kathy Lambert who preceded him in death on May 17, 2023. Wayne retired from Sears and Roebuck Company where he was a service technician for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a 4th degree Knight with Knights of Columbus Council 876 in Marshall. Wayne was an active volunteer and supporter of the Community Food Pantry and enjoyed hunting and fishing through the years.
Wayne is survived by one son, Josh Pabst (Ashley) of Slater; six grandchildren: Kate, Kole, Kyle, Caleb, Ty and Kelbie; one sister, Barb Eilers (Glenn) of Marshall; several nieces and nephews including Michael Eilers and Missy Godar; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Lynch.
