
Harold Clark, Jr., 91, of Marshall, formerly of Slater, died Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at his home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at the Marshall Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Clark Armstrong officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Pallbearers will be Alan Clements, Jake Clements, Jason Stockman, Danny Bryson, Roland Reed, Sam Krog, Jr., Derrick Arms, and Bobby Arms. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 Wednesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born July 15, 1931 in Higginsville, he was the son of the late Harold Clark, Sr. and Ethel Mae Kennedy Clark. On February 10, 1952 in Slater, he married Anna Darlene Johnson, and she preceded him in death January 1, 2023.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Clark and Josh Clark, both of Marshall; a sister, Virginia Clark of the state of Michigan; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Clark; a granddaughter, Elaine Clark; three brothers; and three sisters.
Mr. Clark was a member of the Marshall Church of the Nazarene. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had worked in various occupations, and was a combat warrior and man of many trades.
