The Kansas City Royals salvaged a win in its three-game series with Cleveland with a 4-3 extra-inning win over the Guardians.

The Guardians jumped ahead with two runs in the fifth inning off of Zack Greinke. Greinke went six innings, giving up 11 hits and two runs.

Shane Bieber went six scoreless innings, while striking out eighth batters. The Royals tied the game in the eighth with a sacrifice fly from Edward Olivares and an RBI single from Nick Pratto.

Jose Ramirez stole home to put the Guardians ahead 3-2 in the tenth, but the lead wouldn’t last. Freddy Fermin hit a walk-off two-run double, giving Kansas City the win.

Emmanuel Clase took the loss.
