The City of Sedalia will go forward with its fireworks display despite a burn ban and prohibition of fireworks in the city.

The professionally organized display is the only fireworks event permitted within the city and will be closely monitored by the Sedalia Fire Department. Additonal personnel and precautions will be in place to ensure safety and enjoyment.

The display will be held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds on Tuesday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m.
