The Sedalia Police Department was dispatched to investigate an unresponsive man on East 6th street on Thursday, June 29.

According to the department, officers were dispatched after Pettis County Joint Communications received a call saying that there was an unresponsive man in the alley of the 2000 block of East 6th Street. When officers arrived on the scene, the man, identified as 54-year-old David Williams, was found deceased.

Upon speaking with additional witnesses, collecting further evidence, and an autopsy detectives have found the victim passed away due to a health-related issue. Due to the nature and circumstances detectives worked to insure no foul play was involved in the death.
