The Marshall City Council discussed a resolution dismissing proceedings against Councilman Drew Green during its meeting on Wednesday, July 5.

The city had passed a resolution in March 2023 to allow for a disciplinary hearing for charges that were made against Green.

Mayor Vince Lutterbie stated that the charges that were presented to the council had been resolved.

According to a general release, all parties involved in the original resolution have been released from any actions, claims or liability after a reimbursement for legal fees to Green not to exceed $10,000.

The council voted five to two for the resolution with Councilmen Allen, Perkins, Guthrey, Brandt and Swisher voting yes, Cook voting no and Green abstaining.
