The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen heard two presentations from companies trying to design an website for the city during its meeting on Monday, July 10.

The first presentation was from Cerberus. A representative of the company gave an overview of what the website could offer and what Cerberus could offer the city. The cost would be $1,000 for site design and $50 a month for hosting and management.

The second presentation was from Townsquare Media. The cost to go with Townsquare Media would be $375 a month for the website.

After some discussion, the council voted to hire Townsquare Media for the website with a 3-1 vote. Alderman Trey Schleicher was the only one who voted no.

In other news, the board approved a motion to give the Fair Board $2,500 for the fair.
