A Boonville man was killed in a two-vehicle accident involving a truck tractor near El Dorado Springs on Wednesday, July 12.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when the driver of the truck failed to yield and turned into the path of a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Brandon Herman, causing Herman to strike the truck. Herman’s vehicle traveled off the roadway overturning and ejecting him from the vehicle.

Herman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The accident occurred at 4:44 p.m. on Route H, seven miles north of El Dorado Springs.
