
The Sedalia Police Department arrested a subject after serving a drug related search warrant on Friday, July 14.
The Sedalia Police Department Crime Resolution Unit, Criminal Investigations Bureau and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force responded to a residence to serve a drug related search warrant at 9:40 a.m. Upon arrival, entry was made and five adult subjects were found inside the residence. After everyone was safe and secured detectives searched the residence and located a substantial amount of fentanyl along with methamphetamine, Suboxone and Oxycodone.
At the conclusion of the investigation, 36-year-old Lukas Ellis was determined to be involved in the illegal activity and he was arrested. Officers then transported him to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges. The charges being requested include trafficking drugs in the second degree, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
