A Slater man was moderately injured in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday, July 18.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 47 year-old Eugene Fizer crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Amanda Pycke, also of Slater.

Fizer was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital with moderate injuries. Pycke and a juvenile passenger were transported to University Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident occurred at 8 a.m. on Highway 240 east of Primrose Lane in Saline County.
