The bridge on Mt. Olive Road crossing Salt Fork Creek has been closed effective immediately. Missouri Department of Transportation inspectors have found critical loss of truss members and gusset plates. Inspectors are concerned the bridge superstructure is at high risk of sudden failure and a bridge replacement has been recommended.
